ZLINE Kitchen & Bath, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, relies on a powerful network of national retailers — including big-box stores and more than 300 independent home design showrooms nationwide — to showcase their high-end kitchen appliances. To support that growing dealer ecosystem, ZLINE partnered with 14-West to develop a flexible, scalable Vignette Program enabling each dealer to select from multiple modular display configurations tailored to the products they want to highlight.

PROJECT GOALS

ZLINE needed a national display system that could:

• • Showcase premium appliances as a modern high-end brand
  • Provide consistent, durable fixture for Big Box Stores, Specialty Showrooms, and ZLINE-dedicated showrooms
  • Be modular, affordable, and easy to assemble.
    • Retailers configure vignettes to their specific product mix
    • Vignettes can stand alone or be installed as a unit
    • Modular designs adapt to unpredictable showroom spaces

What emerged is a versatile, cohesive display ecosystem that scales across hundreds of locations.

• Early in the program, ZLINE ordered vignettes in small, per-order batches, which kept upfront costs low but created two significant problems:
• 1. Long wait times — dealers waited 6–8 weeks for displays
  2. Higher per-unit costs — small-run manufacturing drove costs up

To solve this, 14-West recommended a full inventory program to produce larger batches, warehouse them, and ship vignettes as orders are placed. The impact was immediate — dramatically reduced costs, shorter lead times, and more consistent national deployment.

RESULTS

In retail, speed to floor matters, and the Vignette Program delivered 236 displays delivered in 2025 alone, with 650+ displays delivered since March 2022, it is Z-Line’s most successful retail program to date with improved brand exposure and revenue opportunities.
